New Horizons Recovery Centers Ohio

I just completed my iop & want to say Keisha the office manager (front desk girl) is nothing but professional & very thorough with anything I needed..Todd the group counselor is awesome..he really connected with me on how to move forward with my recovery in life situations..& my one on one counselor Sheryl was amazing & communicated with my legal requirement department to keep me moving forward smoothly..great place

I am so grateful for New Horizons. The staff and support team is genuinely invested in your recovery and mental health. I was able to start almost immediately and they advocated with my insurance to make sure I got the care I needed. I never once felt judged or uncomfortable sharing anything I was going through. Made some amazing friends and support that help get me through the hours and days outside of group. My counselor Nikki provides a non judgmental safe space that allows me to share things I've never been able to tell anyone. I highly recommend coming here!

I'm not sure who owns the place, but it is apparent that the owners do not have the best interest of the clients, in mind. However, the staff is pure gold. When I began at New Horizons I didn't realize how much I really needed to be there. Will Beaver, the director at the time made me feel very comfortable and eased my fears. Skylar was so compassionate and caring that it made it very easy to open up to her. I really appreciated the dynamics of the entire team and how well they all worked together. The best part was group. I had never been in a group therapy setting before. The bonds that were made in group will stay with me during this healing journey, which is never ending by the way. Going through all of these mental health and substance abuse issues, and healing and growing and watching my group members also heal and grow, and then watching the staff also heal and grow has absolutely helped my decision of pursuing a career in counseling/therapy. I really loved Drama therapy the most and would love to be a drama therapist when I grow up. The biggest asset to New Horizons is, Kate. Although she was only an intern when I began, she is now a full time therapist with New Horizons and I can't wait to see how far she goes! Thank You! Love, Fro
