The Will House
Reviews
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say this place saved my life. This place not only taught me how to get sober but how to stay sober and how to live. A lot of the men and owners here taught me how to adult. If you want to get sober this is the place to go. That opinion isn’t mine. That comes from a large number of men in the sober community. This place contains some of the fondest memories in my life and helped me to stay sober going on five years. If you are struggling, this is a place to prop you up and face the world as a respectful man. I can’t say enough.
I've always heard great things about The Will House since it was founded. I now currently reside here and I have to say it truly is a great place. The residents in the house all get along and are very supportive of each other. The owner Taylor is very genuine, caring and down to earth. She even bought a Wifi extender for my room and didn't make me pay for it. The house managers are fair and respectful. There is a weekly 12 Step Big Book Men's Meeting we host at the house that is open to all men in recovery whether they are residents of the house or not. I know a lot of people who have gone through this house who are currently thriving in life and are still clean and sober. Many of them attend the weekly meeting. The Will House is a 12 step house and is moderately structured. I fully recommend it to any male who is serious about their recovery and is seeking a Sober House that grants it's residents more leeway if they are following the rules and maintaining their recovery. Many of the residents share the food they've cooked or ordered, a very kind lady brings cooked food to the house periodically and we receive donated food although residents are required to cook for themselves when needed. Thank you so much Taylor for being welcoming and helpful since I arrived here. All the residents are great people. This place is saving my life a day at a time.
Safe and haven. Those are the two words that come to mind when I think of The Will House. The structure provided gave me the foundation to reset and rebuild, while also providing the freedom to live with a sense of normalcy and peace. The housemates here, all from different walks of life, support one another in every way to foster a true community. A community where our common goal to live healthily and reset our lives’ trajectory binds us together. The passion that Taylor and Forrest have to provide a real home to those in need was evident from day one and is still as obvious almost a year later. That’s what The Will House feels like. Home. I can’t express my gratitude enough and greatly recommend this destination for anyone seeking a place to set a new course for their life; while finding a place to call home.
